Indigenous student support Fund

Emergency Financial Support

First Peoples' House and Student Financial Support (Office of the Registrar) partner to provide funding for students who are First Nation, Métis, or Inuit peoples of Canada (FNMI) and need emergency financial support

Domestic supplemenatry Scholarship

The Domestic Supplementary Bursary program provides funds for domestic undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate a financial shortfall for the current school year's academic and basic living costs. Bursaries, unlike loans, do not have to be repaid. To be eligible for bursary funding, you must be able to demonstrate financial need for the current academic year after exhausting all available funding resources and meeting the academic and enrolment requirements.

Emergency Financial Support

First Peoples' House and Student Financial Support (Office of the Registrar) partner to provide funding for students who are First Nation, Métis, or Inuit peoples of Canada (FNMI) and need emergency financial support

Emergency Loan

The Emergency Loan program provides immediate funding support for temporary financial shortfalls due to delays in funding (e.g., government student loan is late), unexpected expenses (e.g., necessary car repairs, emergency dental work), or temporary inability to cover essential living expenses, such as rent or groceries. Emergency loans are not issued to pay for any university tuition or fees.

Indspire

Per term

Indspire provides financial support for First Nations, Inuit and Métis students across Canada to assist them in completing their post-secondary education.
